Default Help on (re)housebreaking PLEASE!

We have a 11 month old Bichon/King Charles Cavalier Spaniel mix. She is our
2nd from the same breeder. Our 1st is a male, now 3. She has been very
difficult to housebreak. We have been using the crate method, which worked
well with our 1st. She got to the point of being 90% reliable. However she
always was easily distracted whenever we would take her outside and seemed
more interested in sniffing than doing her business. Then we went on
vacation. When we came back we expected some regression. And we certainly
got that. We pretty much started over with her. She seemed to be
responding well. Then due to an emergency we had to leave again for a few
more days. When we returned she had lost all. She now poops & pees in the
kennel, particularly overnight, every night. We are at a loss on how to
even start with her since she doesn't seem to care about not soiling the
kennel. Any ideas, suggestions, tips would be greatly appreciated.
