Default Destined to remain ignorant

My difficult-dog-to-learn-from did not appear in the form of Gala.
Trainer friends thought they saw signs of dog-aggression. (Well, that's
how they make their living; why wouldn't they?
Couldn't avoid taking her to the vet to have the drains removed from
her wounds at a busy time -- barking, straining dogs all around. She
paced in, sat calmly between my feet, and endured all without a flinch.
The interesting one was li'l Pip who usually wants to sit beside me at
the vets. He ignored me, planted his 10lbs squarely in front of Gala,
and cast 'hard eyes' on all the dogs in the vicinity. He's been living
relaxed in the shadow of magnificent Mac. He's 'the man of the pack',
now.

You're still in the honeymoon, Chris. She may turn out to be
problematic, just you wait. Guinness was an absolute angel for the
first six months with us. You're still the only person I know who would
consider a problem dog a "good thing"!

Aw, Pip has someone to take care of , too. Sounds like a good match
between the two of them. When do we get pictures?

ha! don't count your chickens, Chris. i'm really hoping she
turns your life upsidedown (in all the best ways, of course!).

it's going to be interesting watching Pip adjust to his new
life. you may see a whole new dog blossom before you.
