Default Tiling With Dogs

Scott and I decided to tile our kitchen..3 years ago..and just did it over
the last 2 days & nights. I will NOT lay tile in a room that large ever
again and warn others against the pitfalls of taking on a DIY project that
size (kitchen is admittedly bigger than most).

Anyway after going to an awful lot of trouble to booby-trap the doorway that
was way to large to block off by conventional means, and hanging plastic
over the other doorway, one or both of the Boxers decided to enter the
kitchen last night while the grout was still semi-wet. I have the cutest
paw print on one of my tiles and am thinking of leaving it there & applying
sealer.

We spent an inordinate amount of time trying to keep the big dogs out and
constantly shooing Pebbles away (she has a need-to-help attitude with all
things messy). Had some mishaps, got some indications of hurt feelings,
even got a "wellhowdoyalikethat!" growl from Pebbles, all to keep the job
nice & clean (and from the tiles accidentally shifting before grout went
in). All that trouble and now I'm wanting to leave a grouted paw print on
the floor. Scott thinks I've finally lost the last shred of common sense I
believe I possessed. I kind of think it'd be cute, like having your kids'
handprint in your sidewalk or something.
