Default OT--Music

I am really trying to recover some "me" space and time these days. Not
easy, but recently I reached the *radical* idea that I could not live by
baby-music alone. Problem is, when I cross Sesame Street, Sharon Lois &
Bram, and Baby Einstein off my list, I have no idea what sort of music I can
listen to to make me feel good :-}

So I am asking for suggestions: whom do you listen to when you're cleaning
or doing dishes that makes the chores a little less onorous?

In my pre-baby days, I listened to everything from Classical to Pop,
although I did tend to avoid rap and hip-hop. I used to really enjoy
artists like Sarah MacLaghlin (sp?) and Norah Jones, but now I find them too
mellow, I fall asleep.

I need upbeat and happy, and no eensy-weensy spiders or
put-your-left-hand-ins ;-)

TIA

Marie
