Default Khan is a GOOD boy

I have mentioned before how Khan rarely runs into people. What I hadn't
noticed is that the same is true of dogs. Yesterday, a lab mix puppy
named Zeke started playing with Khan for the first time. They tried the
WWF stuff first, but Zeke kept bouncing off Khan, and I imagine it
wasn't all that much fun for Zeke. Zeke took off running, Khan in hot
pursuit. As they were turning a corner, a little Scotty who had been
hiding under a bench till then ran across, right into oncoming traffic.
Khan put on the brakes hard, and veered to avoid stepping on the
little dog. Scotty ran back under the bench, completely unscathed.

Unfortunately, Khan didn't fare so well. Big dog in top gear can't
really stop or change direction that well; one of his legs gave out
under him, and he face planted. Came up limping. I stretched him out
and manipulated his leg, and not surprisingly, not a peep out of him.
The people who had been there and had watched all this were all
impressed by him. Unfortunately for Khan, they chose to show their
appreciation by giving him lots of love. He took that with a great deal
of stoicism as well.

He was a little stiff for a while last night, but appears to have
recovered quite nicely. Yup, 20% evil, 80% good.
