Default If it doesn't rain, it pours...

Is that statement the truth?!?!

Its only been just over a week since I wrote about our beloved older dog,
Judy, passing on to the rainbow bridge, and now I am writing a message
regarding our other doggie...

Over the weekend Gizmo just was not herself, just lazing around and looking
glum. We first thought that she was pining for Judy, but when we got up
saturday to find she had a upset tummy, and then got up sunday to find she
was tired and walking with a waddle we knew there was something other than
pining up.

She was not whining, moaning or even showing any pain when you felt her
tummy or back, so it was hard to really know what was up. First thing
monday morning I took her to open surgery to be told she had an infected
womb and needed an emergency op to spay her. (

We was a bit worried with her being 11 years old and under going major
surgery, but when I rang up at 2pm they said that she was out of the op and
in recovering.

Rang up again at 4pm and was told she was more awake and still on the drip
and they were going to try and tempt her with some food. ) Felt a lot
better after hearing this.

Anyway, got to ring up at 10am and see when we can go and get her. Not
looking forward to the vet bill, but as you all know, our dogs are priceless
and we'd spend every last penny on them just to keep them healthy and well
cared for.

Well wishes would be well recieved and I will give an update after I've rang
in the morning to see how she is in the morning, and when to expect her
home.

Donna
