Cocker with ear infection
"Leah" -OFF wrote in message ... "Alky" wrote: Silly question time - is the benadryl administered orally or put in the ears. It's a cough syrup right? No. Benadryl is used to relieve the symptoms of allergic reactions. It may help the dog stop itching at his ears, but it's not going to do a thing for the infection. And I would imagine it's given orally. Yes it is! And you are correct, it will not do anything for an ear infection, even one secondary to an allergic reaction. BD |
