Default A topic of possible interest AKC agility

http://www.akc.org/insideAKC/board/m.../2004/0504.pdf

On the first page of the document it announces a topic list for the BOD =
during their Aug retreat. One of the items is to discuss AKC's role in =
non-purebred dogs, if any. I know there are tons of opinions out there, =
the trick is to make them known where they count!

The tact to take (besides revenue) is the promotion of responsible dog =
ownership particularly among the general dog owning popluation if you =
chose to support allowing mix breed dogs the opportunity to particpate =
in AKC agility. Remember your debate skills you learned in school =
(convince) and avoid practicing the style (mud slinging) modern =
politicians use. ;-)

Here's the AKC governing body: =
