Default Human allergy to dogs: happy story

Well, the group can live without this post but anyway
I feel like sharing with community the story.

The friends of mine, nice young couple weren't able
to have a dog because of Masha being severely allergic
to dogs. Sad.

About a half a year ago they were on a trip to the North.
Somewhere in the middle of the trip getting back to their
parked car they happened upon some brats tormenting a pup.
Not something really nasty, but poking with rods , hooeing,
cornering poor thing.
Not only the pup was scared and miserable
but also seemed abandoned and weak and exhausted.

Well -- they rescued the pup.

As it was weekend and they were not able to contact
dog's shelters they had no other choice but to get
the pup home until they would find right solution for her.

They spent the evening bathing and feeding and getting rid of ticks
(I remember they collected about 50 ticks on poor thing) with
the help and guidance of their friend Simon, experienced GR owner.

To the end of the evening they started to realise that Masha's
allergy does not work. Not one of usual sympthoms (the worst was
breathing difficulties). Not a trace. Like the dog is not here.
But here it is sleeping happily on the bed.
This very moment they decided to adopt her.

Now Chessie is one year old.She is real beauty, the size
and general appearance of GR but a bit slimmer built.
Her hair is of deep tan-to-red color and she wears
black mask. Also her tail is not quite GR-like but
it's reddish feathers soaring at head's level.

Friendly, smart, inquisitive, and natural clowness.
Everybody likes Chessie.

Now the icing on the cake - Masha's allergy seems to fade.
She still avoids contact strange dogs but her reaction is
getting milder even to known irritants like Simon's GR.
Boy, is she happy.

We would spend hours chatting on the lawn in our park with
dozen of dogs swirling around.

They joined agility club and Chessie started well.
At least she loves the game, the rest will come.

Happy X-mas, you can say, but that's how it was...

There is a thing to consider in this story:
"a dog is human allergy to dog natural cure"?

It is so for Masha.

Nick.(Chicha)
