Default Even vet's dogs get sick!

Yeah - our old 12 year old bearded collie mix, K.D., has been on Z/D since
it came out and has given her major relief from her allergies. Lately though
she has begun to lose her bladder in the house and ignore her food (although
a hand out from the kids is always appreciated!).

So hubby vet took her in for blood work today. Her BUN and creatinine is
elevated since her last panel. Her kidneys are aging. Her amylase is also
elevated meaning her pancreas is involved.

So now K.D. has to go on K/D! Must talk to Hills about making a ZD/KD...
those allergic dogs age donchaknow!

Lately hubby says that euthanizing older pets has been harder for him as it
makes him think of our K.D. He had a tough house call one this past weekend
that made him come home and snuggle with our dogs.

So all those people out there who think that vets are cold people in it for
the money ought to come to our house!

-Sharon
