Dropped out of the "another tragedy'" thread, the cruelty directed at
Kelly making me feel guilty.
Received messages from people I don't even know, telling of the
pleasure they received in seeing the joy Mac took in his life.
Perhaps the most meaningful was a warm note from a vet I haven't seen
in years. I called to ask how he knew Mac was gone. "Dr. C., who
missed it has called every vet in town, telling them to review their
literature on tetanus. He's devastated." That's really good of him,
isn't it?
Dr.C. was a member of the team which developed the Pennsylvania method
of hip evaluation. Soon as I'm able, I'll take Gala to him for an
evaluation to see what dog-sports might be appropriate for her.
