Good Neighbor Barker Breaker
A week or two ago, I posted a topic soliciting help here relating to how to
deal with a neighbor's dogs nuisance barking. As I also related, the host of the house where I live asked me not to report the neighbors for the nuisance barking or their neglect of the dogs, so it was recommended to me on this group that I seek out a product called "Good Neighbor Barker Breaker". I thought it would be a good buy, considering it has a range of up to 50 feet. I have a question about this barker breaker for those who own it...when it's switched in the "long mode", will the sound of falling rain set it off? Of course I know that the sound of loud thunder will set it off, but what about the sound of the falling rain? The reason why I ask is because yesterday, there was some slight drizzle, and barker breaker kept sirening off, non-stop. It got me into some trouble with the host of this place, and he wanted me to run outside and turn it off. Maybe it's a defect with mine, but I'm curious if you own this "Good neighbor barker breaker", if you have the same problem with it? thank you, |

Mine has been set off by non-dog-barking in the folloing situations: The children who live behind me like to bark at it (THEIR dog is one of the main reasons I have it). Strong wind (not a breeze). Lawnmowing in a certain range. Other than that, no accidental set-offs. Never by just rain. Janet Boss http://bestfriendsdogobedience.com/ http://photos.yahoo.com/bestfriendsobedience |
