Default Idiots who love saying "Dogs must be on a lead"

It was a beautiful sunny day as my size month old puppy and i walked
to wards the gleaming rays bouncing off the reservoir in front of us.
Puppy was getting excited, her first tentative steps into the water
and from behind me stupid water authority Hitler guy shouting at the
top of his voice "DOGS MUST BE ON A LEAD", It was so un-necessary.

It was a disgustingly sunny day when I and 3 Chows and a Pomeranian all on
leads walked happily towards a large artificial lake where ducks were
swimming when WHUMP, a GSD off leash, out of control and wanting to kill
attacked my Pomeranian only to have the elder two Chows (4 and 3 years old,
the other being less than a year old) turned on it. Following quickly, I did
a swift kick at the GSD but missed and it backed off quickly. Within a
second, an irate owner of said GSD was calling *ME* names for kicking at
dogs. So, I pointed out to that TWIT A) leash laws (all dogs in my state
HAVE to be on leads when out) B) possible bills he would have to pay for any
damage his dog caused C) How an attacking dog may be taken and put down D)
How his nose would look, flat on his face with blood pouring out after I
have finished talking.

I am not a violent person until someone attacks my family or dogs and then
it is a different matter. I love ALL dogs but there is no way I will let one
of my own be harmed, especially when they were just happily walking along,
no human near them at the time.

Thus, while I still off leash train mine so that if they ever get out, they
will behave and come to me (and yes, it CAN be done with Chows!!), I will
always walk all on leash excepting the old girl who has heart problems and
cant afford a leash around the neck. She only walks about 5 minutes and has
had it anyway.

I bet everyone feels the same!
