The Sierra Nevada Dog Drivers just announced its annual
introductory mushing clinic. They're an excellent club, and
MUSH! is certainly one of the best introductory books out
there.

Here's a chance for those folks that are interested in learning about
dog driving (mushing). Its also a great time to refresh your skills
for people new to the sport. You need not even own a dog to have a
great time.

Sierra Nevada Dog Drivers proudly presents the 7th annual

INTRODUCTION TO MUSHING FOR DOG AND DRIVER

This weekend event is an opportunity to have hands-on rig, scooter,
sled and skijor dog training from some of California's top dog
drivers & trainers including International Sled Dog Racing Association
medalists! You will receive one-on-one personalized training as well
as group instruction and have the opportunity to watch experienced dog
teams in action! If you don't have any equipment, no problem, SNDD
will supply the equipment, you supply the dogs! (All breeds of dogs
are welcome! and NO experience is necessary).

If you have your own equipment, feel free to bring it with you.

Date: October 23rd & 24thth, 2004

Place: Truckee, CA

Cost: $110 per person. (This price includes a complimentary copy of
SNDD's Mush! A Beginner's Manual of Sled Dog Training, edited by SNDD
member Bella Levorsen, and Saturday night dinner for the participant,
guests may attend dinner for $10 additional per guest.)
