For reasons that are unclear even to me, I disappeared from this group for
a long time -- part of it was that I got a computer at home, and so I
thought I would do newsgroups at home, but in fact my connection is pretty
slow, so that didn't really work.

There was also a phenomenal amount of cat trauma this past winter, which
had me seriously discombobulated for a while there, but let's not speak of
it. Now there is a new cat in our little family.

I'm not sure if people will remember me or not but I am looking forward to
participating again.
