place to start. Most of the time the amount will be an "overfeed".
That means it will provide more food than is needed. This occurs
because of rules about the amount of food provided. The amount to be
fed must be sufficient for 80% of the population. That means 79% will
be fed too much and 20% will be fed too little, due to activity,
weather, indoors , outdoors, age, reproduction and all the other
things that influence how many calories an animal needs. Wathc you
animal and adjust the amount you feed based upon the animals weight.
If you can't feel the ribs easily - back down. If ribs visible from
across the street, you probably need to up the amount you feed.
