I've been having problems with chipmunks, they are in areas of the yard
that are where my dogs are allowed to run. The dogs go nuts, bark, pace
constantly, dig etc. I've tried endless ways of catching & killing. A
month ago while at our lake home, a mother raccoon & her kits had made
home directly above the dog kennel. The local DNR officer suggested
using a light all night & soaking a sponge with ammonia & placing it
near the den. It worked she was gone the next morning.

I'm hoping to get a consensus from the group, if I did something similar
to this for the chipmunks would there be any harm for my dogs?
