Okay...I'm tentatively looking into heading up for the Canadian '05 BSDCC
National next spring. How far are either of you from Chilliwack?
(It's going to be held at the Best Western Rainbow Country Inn Hotel)
As if going to the US National in Wisconsin weren't enough...

Kate's in Victoria and about 3 hours away (including ferry
ride). I'm from the province to the right and 9 hours driving.
I guess that you won't be sleeping on my couch.

Hey, I had to double-check it! And, it seems that they
maybe be trying another change...supposedly in the club's renewals,
there is a vote to change it to Belgian Sheepdog Club of Canada.
Seems that it was just a couple of years ago that the CKC changed
it from Belgian Shepherd to Belgian Shepherd Dog. Maybe the club
still has a lot of BSCC stuff leftover, and no BSDCC! :-)
Of course, trying to figure out where your "foreign-born Belgian of one
breed, but just a different variety in CKC" is supposed to be placed in an
entirely different thing! :-)

Ah, so not a "quick hop" for either. That's too bad. I think, at most,
I am about 5-6 hours away. My US geography is so-so (when it
comes to judging distances), but my Canadian geography is atrocious.
I just need to get a copy of the CKC's obedience regulations.

Depending on the weekend, I may be over on the mainland anyway: in fact,
if I'm at a hunt test that weekend, I'll be in your back yard!

On the other hand, if I'm at an Island test, I won't :-(

We'll have to see when PRHRC schedules their spring hunt and what else is
going on at the same time...
