Default Fatty Growth Under Skin ????

Hello,

We own a 7 year old "Heinz 57" who is very healthy and weighs
about 60 lbs. We just discovered a growth under the skin on her
ribcage just behind the front leg. It is "soft" and about the size of
a small marble or an almond. It kind of moves under the skin; rolls
if you will. The dog doesn't seem affected when pressure is applied
to the growth.
Is this a benign cyst perhaps? Or should it be checked immediately
by a vet? I am leaning towards monitoring it for enlargement at this
point.

A Concerned Dog Lover,

Ed
