Default sore leg

Chloe, the 50lb lab mix, decided to climb thru the catdoor yesterday. She
has apparently hurt her back leg - it appears to be the area of the joint
that I would consider the "knee" area.

Today she isn't limping but when she does walk, she lets out a yelp when she
has to stand or sit again. She is in pain.

Today is Sunday and we are being hit by a hurricane - even the emergency vet
is closed. Currently she is laying down with an ice pack on that leg. I
figure the best thing is to treat it like a human injury, ice for the first
24, then heat.

For a dog, can you give them aspirin, ibuprofen, aleve? if so, which and how
much?

She certainly isn't herself today. At first I thought it was the storm, but
now I know its the leg. Either way, I feel so bad for my baby.
