YAY Shammie!!
Sham and I made our debut in small enclosed spaces (aka "rings") this week-end.
Two for two! At the Mobile Bay AKC Obedience Trial, she took first place in Novice A both days, with scores of 196 and 194.5. We've dabbled at obedience all her life, and only recently got serious. If I had really done it right from the beginning, she wouldn't have lost even the points she did - field "heeling" is a whole 'nother thang!! But it was great fun to see her strut her stuff and enjoy the hell out of it! I used to swear that nothing could hold a candle to ducks for Sham, but I under-estimated jackpots and applause g (Sham thinks ALL applause is for her -- for that matter, Sham thinks all TREATS are for her, too!! - lol!) Anyway, a good time was had by all (including training buddies who also took firsts in Open A and B, two Utility placements and a HIT!!) Yes, we're hooked. Problem is, now how am I going to find the time and money to trial in agility TOO??? Susan Fraser, owned and trained by BeBop a Lu SheBop SH, Shamma Lamma Ding Dong MH, and Gris Gris Gumbo YaYa http://mypeoplepc.com/members/chinch...densinthenews/ |
