Default Dremel Question

After months of attempting to get Pan's quick to recede by clipping her
weekly, removing a millimeter of nail at a time, I finally gave up and
went and bought a Dremel. A fancy one with all the bells and whistles,
of course. Although she hates having her feet touched, and especially
despises nail clipping, she gave me very little trouble with this.
Heck, she offered up her feet to me when I was trying to do Khan's -
anything for a treat, apparently. Khan was less than thrilled, but the
stoic boy that he is, he let me do his nails without any fuss.

I am totally sold on the product, but realize that I got really, really
lucky. For those of you who use the Dremel, did you have to go the
slow, desensitization route, or did your dog(s) accept it without any
problems?

Suja
