Default Sick Golden Retriever

I have a Golden Retriever (1yr) that has been throwing up and diarrhea. We
took her to the Vet and found nothing. She lost her appetite for about a
week. Today, she ate some chicken and rice and was able to hold it down for
about 6 hours and vomited a small amount but not the entire contents she had
eaten though. We believe she ate a piece of wood with ants on it because
her mouth was swollen so that may be an indication. We are taking in her
stool and vomit to see what if anything we can see. Please any advice?
