Default My dog is bullying other dogs

My 6yo husky wolf mixed (1/2 Siberian Husky, 1/4 Samoyed, 1/4 wolf) male dog
likes to play with other dogs but after a few sniffs, he would snap at them,
so it's quite embarrassing to take him out to meet other dogs and worse,
fear the owners would call the cop. He doesn't have much chance to see other
dogs. We have 2 other dogs and 1 cat at home. How can I change the behavior
of this dog? Lots of people say how glorious this dog looks, so it'd be even
better if he could be walked politely in the public.
