Default How to stop dogs from barking?

Hi, I've been lurking here a bit and I'm hoping people here may have
some suggestions about stopping dogs from barking. This isn't a case of
the neighbor's dog barking, but a case of our dogs barking at other
dogs. It generally seems to happen when other dogs walk past us. While
the other dogs are approaching they are fine. A little whinning, at
times, but then when the other dogs go by us our dogs go nuts barking!
They are both very friendly dogs and both are taking classes at our
local obedience club and there is rarely a problem with them acting up
or barking at the other dogs in class. I believe that they want to play
with the other dogs as they love to play and on the rare occasion when
they have been allowed to meet other dogs they will play with them.

Anyway, I'd like to find a solution to this problem. It's driving us
nuts! We are thinking of squirting them with water, but I'm hoping
there might be another solution as I don't like the idea of squirting
them.

Cathy

Naturally the 'at' should be changed! The number also needs to be spelled
out.
