Default Biting My Tongue

one of my cow-orkers was just on the phone with her son.
(the shared phone for our unit is right behind my desk.) i
overheard them talking about their dogs (son has a Boston and
she has two Shih Tzus). apparently son's Boston is uber
gassy, so she recommended that he feed him Iams, "because it's
the best food you can get." i can't imagine that feeding the
dog Iams is going to reduce his gassiness.

and, get this! the were discussing feeding amounts. her Shih
Tzus eat more than half as much as my dogs! i don't know if
that's because Iams is less calorically dense than the foods
my dogs eat or what, but i'm boggled. *boggled*, i tell ya'.

so, anyway, i've bitten my tongue nearly in half.
