Default Attack of the Killer Bees

That's what they are in Pan's version.

We were outside for a little bit today, me tending to my terribly
overgrown and weedy garden, and Pan just hanging about, poking her nose
where it does not belong. She comes charging at me, tail tucked between
her legs, air snapping, turning around and going after imaginary things
on her body. Turns out they weren't all imaginary. I yanked two yellow
jackets off her, one from her thigh and the other from her chest. Even
after they were gone, she was spooked, turning around to look for more
of the evil critters. I told her that she was fine, and took her inside
to call the vet, give her a little Benadryl and to see if she needed to
be iced down.

I wanted to make sure that she wasn't going to stay spooked, and I
needed to take some pictures of my garden anyway, so we went back out a
few minutes later. After the first few minutes, she was fine, and I
caught her staring down a groundhog (she's useless at crittering). At
the moment, she's lying at my feet, snoring away, her tail thumping on
the ground. At least she's not being chased by elephant sized killer
bees in her dreams.
