Default Dynamic Duo Dogs

Coda & Bodhi have (unfortunately) a new game.

Our dog door is broken, and our farm cat Kaytee has
taken it upon herself to bring us "presents". Every day
this past weekend (beginning with Friday, including this
a.m.), presents in various stages of life. (She's been
doing it off & on for weeks now, but the recent rains have
really brought the mice out). Eeeck.

With the broken dog door, she just runs in with no effort.
Before, she had to use a paw to pull the flap. Now, the
magnetic strip is gone. Last night, I put the wooden door
cover over the dog-door. She BROKE through it, critter
in tow.

Luckily, however, Coda the Wonder-dog is on the job.
He, granted, is a bit obsessive about ridding the house of
these new visitors. All I have to do is clear a path, he &
Bodhi do all the work. One blocks, the other grabs.
If Bodhi grabs it up, however, he drops it each time. Then
Coda grabs it. "Outside, Coda!" I shout, and he RUNS
to the doggie door & out into the yard.
He does most of the work, but Bodhi does a good job blocking
the mouse's path.
Count is now at: Coda--5, Mice--0.

Anyone want a friendly, long-haired, great mouser cat?

Kidding...dog-door replacement is on the way!
