amature agility
Manu blew my mind last week. we were at the vet, having his nails trimmed (yes, i figured it's easier on me to spend the $13 and have a vet tech do it), and he did something really impressive. he jumped, from a sit, up onto the exam table (they're kitchen counter height). i had no idea he could do something like that. keep in mind, this is a 78 pound dog, who i always thought of as "fat and slow". he's also taken to leaping off the deck and clearing the steps by about 10 feet, when i let him out each morning. today, i caught him climbing the maple tree. ok, he didn't get far, but still, this dog keeps impressing me. too bad he's so big boned, i don't think his hips would handle agility very well. -kelly |
