PS: is the dog fully grown at 10 months?

Body wise they are about full grown you shouldn't see a large increase in
size after this although there will be some. But they are no where near
mature until 18 months or more.

Unless it's a flat-coat retriever like I have. He wasn't fully grown until
he was 2 1/4! This is fully documented too. I was in shock. I thought at 10
months and 55 pounds he was as big as he would get. Not really knowing
anything about Flat coat/ mixes when I adopted him at 9 months, I thought he
was all grown on the outside. In the next year and a half he grew to 83
pounds and at least 2 1/2 inches taller. He is not fat by any means, in case
you're thinking that's why he's bigger. But no matter, we love him even
though he takes up half the queen size bed. lol!
