Default My dog smells my urine.....why?

Hey folks,
My dog rushes into the bathroom everytime I urinate. He'll stand there
patiently until I start urinating. He'll sniff the stream momentarily and
walk out. He does this time and time again.
Does anyone know why?
Eddie

He thinks you are 'marking your territory' within HIS territory.

Because it's instinct to see who is marking his territory... and you leave
the door open.

Heh. This is getting into the "too much information" category.

Do you eat a lot of asparagus?

Does anyone know why?

He was curious and now it's a habit/ritual. Don't worry about
it - you can always close the door if it bothers you or if he
gets *too* close for comfort.

Hm . . . now if that interpretation were true then the dog might
start urinating in the toilet after his owner!! Could save Eddie much
dog walking. :-)
