There are a couple of people on the Clicker Solutions list who are having
trouble finding trainers/dog parks on Long Island. They're looking for clicker
trainers, but any reward-based classes that will allow clickers will do. Any
suggestions?

Nope. Long Island is, for all purposes, a different planet. You have to
DRIVE to get there which makes it a foreign land.

Hey, I was just in Florida for a week. I forgot how nice it was to not
have to wear three layers plus a coat just to go to the store.

:-) Where on Lawn-Guy-Land? It takes something like 3 hours to drive
from one end to the other :-).

If there's on the western end, they might want to try:

Nassau Dog Training Club
Diane Broas
5 Willis Avenue
Floral Park, NY 11001

I can't speak to that club in particular, but clubs are usually
pretty open about accepting experienced trainers who are already
using other training methods just as long as they seem to know
what they're doing and not disrupting the class in general.

HTH,

Dianne
