Smelly Yellow Labrador
Hi all
Am hoping to get some help with my 'smelly' yellow labrador. Bonnie is just over 2 years of age and my husband appears to have become allergic to her in recent months. He said she might have to go, but I bought him some allergy pills. :-) Bonnie appears to be a bit itchy but has no rash or redness of her skin. We gave her a good wash with a quality shampoo, rinsed her then put some conditioner on her this evening, but she still smells very 'doggie'. We've been washing her about once a month because of this smell problem, but it doesn't seem to be helping. Any ideas anybody please? Cheers Karen |

My suggestion would be to have a 6 panel thyroid test run...sounds like my
young Doberman...baths only helped for the day...oily coat, very itchy... Good luck...thyroid medication has certainly turned my young guy around!
