I think the Plott suggestion is worthy of consideration. not according to the breed standard. the ears are too high and have some erectness at the base. the muzzle is too square. his body is too thick and his legs are too short. at least from that picture. she's also on the very light end of the Plott standard, but doesn't look thin at all. maybe a Plott mix, he seems to have those eyes. but that could still be from a lab pit cross. :-) http://www.treehound.com/treehound/html/plott.html it would help to know the height and weight, of course.
