Default Tylan

I friend just recommended Tylan for overall gastronomic health for my dog.

Does anyone here have an opinion of Tylan - what it is, if it's healthy for
dogs, and what exactly it's for.

...........Tylan is an antibiotic commonly used in SIBO - small intestinal
bacterial overgrowth. It's not something you can buy over the counter.
Needless to say antibiotics shouldn't be used unless they're really very
necessary.

A friend of ours used it on her white GSD that had chronic irritable bowel
problems. It worked quite well for him.
