Default Progressive axonopathy - Boxers

Anyone ever heard of this form of nerve degeneration. My 12 y.o. Boxer has
some prblems with the mobility of his hind legs. Vet says it may plateau
here or pregress to the point of paralysis. Tried meds to no effect...

Has your dog had a CT scan or MRI? I haven't heard of this condition at all
before but have seen one degenerative disorder in two Boxers that surgery
helped with.
