She has blue spots on her tongue, and 6 toes on each back paw!!!! (extra
toes came free)


Small lop ears, rather thick muzzle - that might be a Shar Pei cross. That
would explain the dark spots on tongue, although spotted tongue can be
found from several breeds. I see no shepherd there, although it might have
some. Hardly German Shepherd, but some other shep breed. 6 toes on a big
dog might mean some Great Pyr or Beauceron in there. Hmm, a Shar Pei x
Beauceron could give a dog like this.

Thanks! You're right, she really doesn't look much Shepherd. As a matter of
fact, one person at the shelter did suggest Shar Pei.

She also knows the commands: sit, down, & wait. Not that this has anything
to do with the subject! She's not completely house trained though. Had a BIG
mistake on her first night, poor thing.
