Smelly feet
The solution is pretty much the same as for our feet. Remove the
perspiration by cleaning the feet. I'm not suggesting a daily bath, heaven knows... But just wiping the feet off with a wash cloth wet with warm water and a small amount of baking soda a couple of times a day should help. As dogs lick their feet routinely, you don't want to use anything like human deodorant or antiperspirant. Using anything with alcohol could dry the pads so much they crack, when added to the physical impact of Canadian winter.... Jo Wolf Martinez, Georgia |
