Madigan was boring holes in my with her eyes, which is her way of saying, "I
want."

So I asked her if she wanted to go outside. She got up and walked with me
towards the kitchen, but hesitated. No, not that. "Okay, what do you want?
Show me." Normally she leads me to the cookie cabinet or her leash at this
point, and recently has also begun to sometimes go to where I hang the bait
bag, asking for a training session. She just kind of hung back, still staring
at me. At this point, I looked at the clock and realized it was 1/2 hour past
mealtime.

"Oh, you want to eat!" No, she didn't run into the kitchen, even when I opened
the food bin. But she was still giving me her "I want" look. Huh? "Well,
what do you want? Show me."

So she takes me back into the computer room, goes to the drawer where I keep
the cat food and points at it with her nose.

I always feed the cat first.

Cute story! That's our routine too. The words "Are you going to help me
feed our Rosie?" result in a joyful bounding up the stairs with me to get
the cat's dish.
