Default "How Dogs Learn" by Burch & Bailey

In a recent post someone mentioned they were reading "How Dogs Learn"
by Burch & Bailey. I looked it up on Amazon and it seems like a pretty
good book, but before I buy it I'd like to know what people here think
of it. How many of you have read it? How does it compare to books like
"Culture Clash", "The Other End of the Leash", "Don't Shoot the Dog",
etc.? I've read all of the above plus a few more and so, I'm wondering
if "How Dogs Learn" would really be a useful book for me to buy. Does
it present information that is not contained in the other books I
mentioned? Are there books you would reccommend before you would
reccommend "How Dogs Learn"? Any input would be appreciated.

Naturally the 'at' should be changed! The number also needs to be spelled
out.

There's very little overlap with the other books, except
perhaps "Don't Shoot the Dog." What "How Dogs Learn"
provides is a more technical discussion of operant
conditioning but presented in lay terms. The other book I
think it's most like is Pamela Reid's "Excel-erated
Learning."

Thank you. I think I will pick it up then. I would like to have a
better understanding of how operant conditioning works. I like to
understand the "how's and why's" something works.
