Default Bleeding

My daughter accidentally shut the door on my shepards tail causing him
to have stitches in the end of his tail. He had it bandaged and
stitched for probably three weeks but never seemed to want to leave
his tail alone (probably the bandage). Now he has a scab on it but we
can't seem to get the scab completely healed and he's always coming
into the house, banging his tail (glad to see everyone kind of thing)
and getting his tail bleeding again. A friend recommended some sort
of liquid bandage (as with for people?).

Anyone heard of that or have any ideas in getting past this? We
really want to bring him inside but obviously, the bleeding everywhere
he wags thing, gets him back outside quickly. He has a nice bed in a
heated garage but wants to be with us as much as we want him back
inside... TIA
