Default Sam Malatesta - Toronto March 5-6/05!!

Have you had it with all the negative publicity about dogs in Toronto
recently?

Well here is an event with a truly positive spin on dogs, their owners
and kids.

On the weekend of March 5-6, 2005 "dog whisperer"and master dog trainer
Sam Malatesta will hold his first Toronto seminar at the Holiday Inn on
King (370 King St W.) that will focus on the following:

„h Specific problem solving (bring your dog and receive hands on advice).
„h Safe people-dog interactions with a special focus on child safety.
„h Development of a sound dog.

¡§Dog attacks are making headlines on a regular basis and the atmosphere
is becoming increasingly difficult for dogs/dog owners. It is our
responsibility as dog owners to ensure that our pets are well trained,
trusted members of society.¡¨ Sam Malatesta

Though he offers private training lessons at his kennel north of
Toronto, one of his passions is a rescue dog ¡V the dogs that taught him
his skills. Today, he gives back to those dogs by holding seminars for
rescue and foster groups through Canada and the U.S. His educational
seminars are designed to reduce euthanasia rates, increase adoptability
of homeless dogs and raise funds for animal rescue and rehabilitation.

Your dog can be a joy to live with, a source of pride, and a dog that
people comment on favorably. Expert dog trainer Sam Malatesta will
give you the tools and knowledge to help your dog become a happy, well-
trained companion, who is safe around children and adults alike. There
are no gimmicks, no prong collars, or harsh corrections.

Sam will share with you how over 20 years of hands on experience has
given him an in-depth understanding of how your dog ticks. He has
designed a highly effective training program based on respecting your
dog¡¦s needs and your dog trusting your leadership. He teaches you
to ¡¥read¡¦ your dog¡¦s body language to understand canine behaviour.

There will be space for up to 25 handler/dog teams and room for an
additional 75 participants. Early booking is recommended for those
wishing to bring a dog and receive hands on guidance.

Early Bird booking is $115 per person ($135 after February 28)

Net proceeds in support of Dog Rescues & Innovation Toronto
