Default so maybe i won't be tempted to keep her

One of the main things the Newf pup's family was/is having trouble
with is housebreaking (totally their problem - lack of schedule,
supervision, etc). we've been making huge progress, which is why
she's staying with me - so she doesn't lose that. She's been doing
well today, and 1/2 hour after eating lunch, needed to poop. Only as
soon as she was done, she turned around and indulged. I don't run as
fast through snow as on land, but managed to stop it part way and
scoop it up immediately. Guess we'll be leashing it for poop outings,
or I'll be slogging through the snow to be right there with scooper at
the ready. UGH - no more ear kisses from her!

Oh, blech. No matter how often I see that, it makes me want to hurl
each time. Earlier today the huskies were playing with poopsicles,
tossing them in the air and having a great time. I turned away before
the inevitable happened.

Anyone care to discuss dogs' preferences for fresh vs. frozen? The
other day, Cruiser the IG was standing behind Trissa the Borzoi,
waiting...

Sorry.

I always say to the dogs "don't kiss me until I can forget what you just
did!"

My dog will indulge in kitty litter if she can (which, thanks to a baby gate,
she no longer can.) There's nothing worse than catshit breath.

Laugh!

I had an epileptic golden as a kid that would totally 'lose it' when having a
seizure, flopping around like a fish in his own excrement (poor Gren, he was
such a dignified dog). Those were fun bathtimes.
