Default AWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!

We just got a carpet, so I popped Walter, 5 1/2 months old now and just
about ready to start trying to crawl, onto the floor, face down. Saskia (1
year old now) ambled over and watched him with great interest, face all
crumpled up, then sniffed him all over, and VERY delicately lay down
alongside him, even folding one foot carefully out of the way, and rested
her head along his side. Every now and then she'd have to be dissuaded from
licking his face excessively or leaning on him, so she chose to stuff her
head under his chest (he was doing a push-up) and lie there looking
concerned, keeping very still. Didn't know she had it in her! I'll try to
get some pictures of this happening later when Danny's here too. I'm betting
she'll do it again.

It is amazing how dogs will do things like this isn't it? Our Nana (Nana is
the dog not my grandmother lol) is my 3 year old's autism assistance dog but
she really looks out for all of my kids.......she always gets to whomever is
crying before I do and is in the process of kissing tears away by the time I
get there. She just seems to know who needs what when. I was really upset a
few nights ago and she took care of me just like she does the little ones.
