Growth on dog's gum
Our small, old, blind, deaf dog, toothless handled his problems and
seemed to be happy. Now, he got an infected growth on his gum. We are taking him to the vet to find out if he can be operated on. Any ideas? Thanks, Steve |

Any ideas? sounds like it's PROBABLY an Epulis, which are generally benign. A vet check is in order. If it's infected, that can be treated without surgery. If not, and it's not causing a problem, surgery on an elderly dog is questionable. -- Janet B www.bestfriendsdogobedience.com http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/bestfr...ence/my_photos |
