American Bulldog Skin Disorder
Hi-
Maybe someone can give me some advice. We have a 1 and 1/2 year old female ABD. She seems to have some type of skin disorder. She gets real red between her legs and the vet gave me topical ointment and one time spray to put on her. It goes away for awhile and then comes back. Now, besides getting it between her legs, she is developinng this rash on both of her rear legs. At one point she had rashes between her toes and we thought it was from the grass outside. Now that it's colder weather, the rashes on her toes have not reappeared, but we still have rashes between her legs and now some on both of her hindquarters. The rashes went away with the spray that the vet gave us. But it doesn't seem to be working on her thighs (rear legs). I understand that ABDs have very sensitive skin, but what can I do at this point in time? Find a new vet? I live in a suburb of Chicago Illinois. Any suggestions would be welcomed. Thanks Al |
