Default Toller breeder?

A friend has asked me about Tollers, and about this breeder in
particular.

Anyone familiar with these people? They look pretty good from what I can
see, but of course there are still quite a few questions to ask.

Don't know the people at all:

I wish they had some working titles on their dogs - although they bred
their bitch to a well-titled boy in 2003, there's only a CGC on their
bitch.

They've kept one of the pups they bred, but it doesn't look like she came
to much.

They sound like they're on the ball in terms of spay/neuter and health
checks, although "Rose" has only "fair" hips and was bred (twice!) anyway.
None of her offspring from the '01 litter have been OFA'ed. It's too early
to tell with the '03 pups. I'd like to see their contract online.

Tollers I see here out West look more like "West Wind Todd" than their
brood bitch. I don't know whether that's a regional thing or not.

For comparison, here is a very strong Canadian kennel:

Alison Strang is kind of the 'Grande Dame' of tollerdom in
North America.

For information about Tollers and to obtain a list of
breeders that are members of the NSDTRC (USA), send a
request along with a self addressed, stamped #10 envelope
to: [info in link]

A: Because it messes up the order in which people normally read text.
Q: Why is top-posting such a bad thing?
A: Top-posting.
Q: What is the most annoying thing on usenet and in e-mail?

I agree,
Alison Strang would be the person to speak to about breeders in other areas.
She is a wonderful person and very approachable.

Thanks to all that responded. I've forwarded the links to the people who
are looking for a pup. I'm sure they'll appreciate the leads
