Purina Beneful Diet
Recently our vet told us to stay away from Purina Beneful because of the
food coloring used to make the different colored nuggets. Anyone have any thoughts on this? My dog really likes Beneful. |

It also contains "by product", the worst form of meat.

The last time I looked, sugar was way near the top of Beneful's list of ingredients. -- --Matt. Rocky's a Dog. |

Like your "idol", you are dead wrong. First, that website needs to update it's talking points regarding Science Diet. It's woefully outdated. Secondly, the definition of "chicken by-products" and "meat by-products" are two different things. Thirdly, the website should take the time to spell Eukanuba correctly. Regardless of what that website says, you CANNOT judge the quality of a petfood by the ingredient label. For one thing, you have no idea what the "quality" of each ingredient is. Certain ingredients are not neccessarily better than other ingredients. With all due respect, you should quit believing scare tactics about dog food and start educating yourself about canine nutrition. |

You can rest assured, if it contains "by product" it is a shitty food. That
part you can be assured of. " wrote in message ups.com... Hillary 2008 wrote: http://www.feedmypet.com/dog-food-comparison.html " wrote in message oups.com... I'm not going to take your word for it, just because you said so. I guess you don't want to acknowledge the points I made regarding the (erroneous) website that you referenced. Typical. |
