Beau got some new letters
Well, almost. He passed his TDI exam today. Since he's due for his
annual shots in May, I'm waiting until Friday (after we go to the vet's) to send in his paperwork. My one concern (and the evaluator said not to worry, since I have documentation as to what happened) is that I did have to answer "yes" to the question "has the dog ever been in a dog fight?" He WAS attacked by a loose dog while he was on a leash and we were waiting to go into the ring at a show last October. A hearing was held on the spot and he wasn't found at fault. The evaluator said not to worry, TDI should send him through since HE wasn't the one showing aggression. So, assuming everything goes okay, Beau will be "BIMBS CH Cat's Cradle's Beaufort, CGC, TDI" I'm about 40 miles away from his Dog Scouts Pack Dog title... and I'm working him up to the weight required for the Alaskan Malemute Help League titles. I'm not sure if I'll ever actually get him there, though. I thought about putting the TDI on Lucy, but at 13, she's getting somewhat cranky, and I figured it wasn't that big of a deal to title her just so I could say she had some more letters. -Amanda BIMBS CH Cat's Cradle's Beaufort, CGC Lucy Anna Skye, MB-CD, CGC http://www.uberpest.com |
