Technically they're not Siberian Huskies, although they're
Siberian and they're huskies and a bunch of them look
awfully familiar. (Love the little terrieroid fellow in the
bow).

That dog near the terrieroid fellow reminds me of Khan for some reason.

Unregistered and almost certainly not purebreds as we
currently understand the term. "Siberian Husky" is actually
a North American breed going back to a smallish number of
dogs that were brought over to Alaska and ended up settling
in Quebec, Maine, and New Hampshire when Seppala sold them
while on tour after the serum run. Then the Soviet
Stalinists decided that they needed to domesticate the
Chukchis and killed as many of their dogs as they could, and
I don't think anybody knows how many survived. Breed
history says that the dogs came from the Chukchis, not the
Yupiks, but I can't imagine that the line is quite that
clear.
